Scene.co.nz, a web newsource from Queenstown, New Zealand, took notice of the snowkiter-packed RV meandering through the countryside and decided to report it to the locals. Evidently "snowkiting is still a relatively new phenomenon for most Kiwis." Thanks to the wonders of the world wide web, we're all able to read about it from, well, wherever. When comparing New Zealand to the Alps, Chasta reported:
“It’s so different from the European skifields because if a town like Queenstown usually the chairlifts are right in the town and you don’t have to drive anywhere – you have some very interesting roads that are a bit crazy like 'The Remarkables’."
