No, your kite surfing bar won't work, but you don't have to use handles either. You just need a bar for fixed bridle kites. You should be able to pick one up for around $100 or so. Used for $50. |

a couple new ones are the Ozone turbo bar and HQ's crossover bar. The Ozone bar is brand new so it will cost a pretty penny, but you can find other fixed bridle bars used for fairly cheap like redcap said |

hi...really all you need to do is attach the outside lines to the outside of the bar...any bar for example... bike handle bar, wooden bar....ANY OLD kite surf bar.....THEN be sure that the checicken loop is FIXED to the bar and the break system (inside lines) are either THROUGH the bar or....connected via a clamped on hole that will hold the lines close to the bar to allow for break and safety control. You can find that Flexifoil has a bar for all its Blades...it has a carbon fiber through hooe for the breaks which opporate on a pulley to keep the break line tensions smooth! you dont really have to spend a penny if you understand how the bar systems work...fabricate it. Good luck! |
