| Post subject: | Kjelleren's video while going 65.7mph and Kitestorm photos |
Gary Kjelleren of Vermont has been going really fast lately and his run last week now tops the list for the season: 65.7mph on skis at Sand Bar on Lake Champlain in Vermont. He also had a video camera on his wrist. If you have never gone that fast in anything but a car, train or plane... check it out. This past week was beautiful (at least in the Northeast) and a lot of riders had some very fast runs as well as personal best speeds. Paul Morse will go home with this week's prize of an Ozone t-shirt for his run of 53.5 mph. We would also like to give a shout out to Jessica Staples who had her personal fastest speed this week. She is relatively new to the sport and one of the only women out there pushing the snowboard speeds and it is great to see her ripping it up. Next week's winner will sport a Slingshot t-shirt.
