Post subject: | Snowkiting and Kite Lines - Common sense....... |
Here is some advice that I would like to pass on, after several years of Snowkiting I have learned these two simple rules to be evolving as "common sense" for Snowkiters, and I want to pass it on as it appears many newcomers to Snowkiting are unaware of many of our winter cultures nuances. 1. Always roll up your lines the second you are done riding. If you leave your lines out, then you are accepting responsibility should a biler or skier run them over. 2. Only use colored lines on the snow. Period. Not only is it easier to manage all the lines, it allows other area users to see your lines when laid out on the snow. If we follow these ideas ourselves, we can avoid nearly every bad line scenario. Windzup, Brian Schenck http://www.ozonesnowkites.com |
