Utah Kite Addiction Snowkiting School
Over the last few years here in Utah, local riders have discovered the potential of Skyline Drive, Strawberry Reservoir, Powder Mountain, and Park City areas. Combing the quality and quantity of the light fluffy stuff and diverse terrain, this state is hard to beat as a snowkiting destination. The Ozone crew and windzup.com have successfully led the promotional effort for the growth of snowkiting in our state.
Utah Kite Addiction was established this season and is the first and only PASA certified snowkiting school in Utah. We are dedicated to the promotion of snowkiting in Utah and safely bringing new riders into the sport. We have three riding areas within a 30 mile radius each with their own type of terrain. Powder Mountain sits at about 8,900 feet with great exposure to wind and definitely living up to its name. Pineview Reservoir could be the best place in Utah to learn to snowkite because of predictable consistent light winds and flat surface. Monte Cristo is a large snowmobiling complex that has wide open rolling hills still waiting to be discovered.
Our lessons are conducted at Powder Mountain Resort with kite adventure support to Monte Cristo and Pineview Reservoir. In the truly rare event that there is no wind at one of these locations, enjoy skiing or boarding on some of the best snow on Earth at Powder Mountain, Snowbasin, or Wolf Mountain Resorts all minutes apart. While you shouldn’t miss Skyline Drive, don’t overlook these other areas on your next snowkite adventure. Check us out at
