Big week for speed and Kitestorm Update
This was a well-attended week for riders all over North America. Spped merchant
Joe Levins came out with the fastest run of 54.8mph on his now snow-covered favorite spot, White Bear Lake in Minnesota. He was riding the new Slingshot Ranger foil.
With safe ice now more or less across North America we are seeing good geographical diversity in entries though I would be psyched to see some women riders having a go.
We did get our first bunch of Peter Lynn riders with their sights on the Scorpion prize and the fastest so far is Michael Elliot riding in Madison, NH who stands at 53.7mph.
Joe wins an Ozone beanie. Next week's winner will keep their skin smooth and healthy with some Himaya Cold Protection. See the whole list at
We are also psyched to announce some updates for the
Kitestorm: demo and prize partners, after-party location and more. Both sides of the Sand Bar are frozen with over a foot on the south side and ice is being made every day. We had some blissful riding this weekend and are looking forward to more. See the details about the Kitestorm on:
Pre-registration for the free Intro and First ride clinics are filling up so if you know people who are psyched to have a taste of this great sport, please send them our way.
Think snow,
